The game of life and how to Win it by Bett Correa

My Novel Engineer Your Perfect Child
People often ask me how I wrote and published my own book, became a Customer Experience Architect, became a professional public speaker, and became an improv actor.

Here are the simple steps I used to achieve my goals.

You can make your dreams come true! Anyone can. You need to follow these steps to make it happen.

1.     Mental Steps

a.     Dream big

b.     Write down your goals

c.     Define who you need to be to achieve this goal. Then make a plan to become that person. Start Thinking Like that person today.

2.     Grow your network

a.     Find mentors

b.     Meet and talk to as many smart people as you can

3.     Learn

a.     Read the Harvard business review every month

b.     Read the Wall Street Journal everyday

c.     Read five books on the subject

d.     Write some blog articles on your unique viewpoints on the area

4.     Read the following books

a.     Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman

b.     The New Digital Age By Eric Schmidt and Jared Cohen

c.     Talent Is Overrated By Geoff Colvin

d.     Will Power By Roy F. Baumeister and John Tierney

e.     The 4-Hour Workweek by Tim Ferriss

Following these simple steps will let you reach your goals. The key is your attitude. If you stay positive and ask others to help you, they will. See how you can help them too.

  1. Good advice, Bett! Should I think we met for a chat once because I was in No. 2?

On No. 3 when you say "Read five books on the subject" it is not clear on what subject.

I've read only "The 4-hour.." book. I'm checking out now the other four on Amazon.
